Here is the GIF or demo you can of Android N Freefom Window Feature : Freeform Window Screenshot
How it will works?
To use Freeform mode feature on your phone you just need to press the square button from your phone just like above GIF image. You will get your current in new stylish multitasking menu look. You will see the small square icon at right side in title bar for each app. Once you tap that button, it opens the app in the freeform window mode.
Now you can re-size as many apps as you want : Just drag any windows by the edges to re-size them to any size, just like we use windows/desktop. Don’t cover the another app completely coz, freeform mode lacks any form of task bar or app switching, so it’s easy to lose a window.
Now, once you entered into the freeform mode, any apps you will start or launch will be open as pop-up window in freeform mode. If you open an app from within another app (e.g. : You can open settings from the notification shade), that new app will launch in windowed mode. But, if you press home button and than open any app from the regular launcher, than you will be automatically out from freeform mode and that app will open in the normal full-screen mode.
Whenever you leave freeform mode, all opened windows will be saved in their last state untill you switch to freeform mode again.(e.g. : Tap home button and come out from the freeform mode, now open another app and use it in full screen mode like normal, and then tap the Recent button to get back into Freeform mode.)
This feature is still unfinished, Let’s see now What new Android N Final version will come with..
