Good news for Sony owners, Android N 7.0 official OTA update is now available for Sony also. The final version has been released by Google yesterday. Sony also released the list of Android 7.o compatible devices.

Google has officially announced the Android & update for Nexus devices. Here is the full list of Android N Compatible devices.
Official List of Android 7.0 Nougat Compatible Sony Smartphones:

  • Sony Xperia X
  • Xperia XA
  • Xperia XA Ultra
  • Xperia X Performance

  • Xperia Z5 Premium
  • Xperia Z5 Compact
  • Xperia Z4 Tablet
  • Xperia Z3+

Xperia E5 is not in the this list. Its latest announcement from the Company, Sony announced this update in June. But, still official Android N update is not available for it. I found that Sony has provided lots of new update, with the Android N update. Rumors saying that Sony devices likely to get a new Sony Xperia UI with Android Nougat update.

If you have any of above listed Sony devices so you will get the OTA update very soon. There is not any confirm date of OTA release from the company, but it's expected to come in last of week of this month.

Sony Xperia users can Install the Android Nougat 7.0 preview version. But that's only for Xperia users from below listed countries:

Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden
